New Transbay Transit Center to revive San Francisco

The Bay Area is rapidly transforming, as evidenced by all the new developments and construction sites seemingly at every intersection and high-rises popping up in trendy neighborhoods. The Transbay Transit Center animated video below is really effective in showing the power of transit-oriented development and the increasing density in San Francisco.

From Pedestrian bridges overlooking parks and significant public art works to unique retail shopping experiences, the construction is expected to be completed in late 2017.

The Transit Center features City Park, a 5.4-acre rooftop public park, with a variety of amenities: open air amphitheater, gardens, children’s play space, as well as a restaurant and cafe. The Transit Center also will connect the future High Speed Rail from San Francisco to Los Angeles and Anaheim.

We can’t wait to see this project come into life!
